The Vault jumpsuit is a piece of clothing in Fallout 3. There are Vault jumpsuits for every Vault which appears in Fallout 3 , although two of them are only found in the game files. While wearing the Vault jumpsuit, dialogue with certain non-player characters will be slightly different as opposed to wearing a variant of the vault suit, such as the armored Vault jumpsuit , Vault utility jumpsuit or other apparel from the Wasteland. This is most easily observed in Megaton , where Lucas Simms will make a comment about the clothing when the Lone Wanderer enters the town for the first time, but only if they are wearing the jumpsuit upon entry.

Vault jumpsuit
Vault jumpsuits are clothing that appear in all Fallout games. However, in Fallout and Fallout 2 they are worn by the player character by default and in Fallout 3 , Fallout: New Vegas , Fallout 4 and Van Buren , they appear as actual in-game items. They appear to be made out of a leather material, the numbers made of polyester and the belt and other components out of aluminum. Vault jumpsuits are the regulation clothing carried by the vault dwellers of Vault-Tec vaults. They are made of leather, blue with a yellow zipper and the number of the vault is on the back of the suit and on the outside of the collar.
The Vault jumpsuit is a piece of apparel in Fallout 3. A rugged jumpsuit variant designed for heavy use among Vault-Tec machinery and infrastructure. Rather than extruded rubber, the suit uses a combination of denim - a quintessentially American material - and natural leather, [1] [2] [3] combined to create a particularly rugged piece of equipment. The suit is less form fitting than other jumpsuit variants, but provides a good deal of comfort. Like other versions, it's a single-piece uniform, with a zipper down the front, leather armguards, and spacious pockets on the waist and thighs.
